Welcome to Christmas in July....

Can you believe it is mid year already?

I don't know about you, but for me 2010 has just zoomed along at a hectic pace. It only seems like yesterday we were packing away the Christmas tree and decorations for another year and gearing up for a busy new year ahead. Here we are 6 months on, it's Christmas in July and time to reveal the new Christmas Collection for 2010.

This is my 18th year designing Christmas and I still love it. And why not, this is the season when we take special pleasure in handmade gifts and decorations for our home. I love sharing my designs with you and hope you enjoy painting these projects as much as I did.

While I have kept a lot of the old whimsical Christmas folk you have come to know and love, I've also added some new elements for 2010. I hope you like this first installment of patterns.

News from the studio...

In August  I will be releasing some re-vamped Christmas patterns from previous years in E-pattern format. This will be your chance to get some of those old patterns you might have missed out on.

In October I will be releasing more Christmas patterns, as well as a big 'secret' Christmas Project, which I am very excited about. Make sure you keep an eye on the blog so you can join in. Here's a little hint... lot's of free patterns and tutorials!!

My first E-course, Embracing the Passion, was so much fun that I was disappointed to see it come to an end. I've had great feedback from the participants and look forward to running this course again towards the end of 2010.

I have a new Christmas E-course starting in August. I've not unveiled the project yet but I think you'll love it. This course is structured so that you can join in at anytime. All the video content and step-by-step tutorials will already be up on the private site, so you can join whenever it suits you and stay as long as it takes you to complete the project.

Term three classes have just begun in the studio, with several new students joining us this term. I know quite a few people are waiting for the weekend workshops to start and I do hope to have them running soon.... [sigh] if only there were more hours in the day!!

Don't forget, you can follow my creative journey at the Shabby Art Boutique blog. You'll get sneak peaks at what's happening in the studio as well as all the new projects that are on their way to you.

I always appreciate your feedback so don't be shy... you can leave a comment on my Blog, on the website Guestbook or by emailing me.

I hope you will pop back to Woodberry Designs [by the sea] often.

Hugs ~ Kerryanne
