Dear crafting friend,

My patterns are designed especially for YOU.

Each design involves many, many hours of work – drawing, painting/sewing, proto-types, instructions etc. I earn my living by selling my designs. And as ORIGINAL designs, each and every one of my designs is covered by COPYRIGHT.

When you purchase one of my designs (pattern packet) that design is especially for you – it’s not for sharing or re-selling. This rule applies to teachers too. The Copyright law prohibits you from reproducing any part of that pattern packet by photocopier or any other mechanical means.

I’m sure if you earned your living from one of ‘your ideas’ you would want to protect it too.

That being said, I don't mind crafters producing multiple pieces to sell for charity, fetes or small markets, as long as credit is given where credit is due. Please don't claim the design as your own.

So my friend, please respect my copyright and help me to sustain my small business, so I can continue to design painting and sewing projects for you.
